Some of you older collectors will remember Paul Mills. He came through the airport today. I shook his hand and found out he lives in San Antonio. Always good to see old friends.

Paul was the one who helped get the annual Lake Houston Meet started. We began meeting for snacks & talking fans at a local restaurant, then decided to do a cookout at my place. The Lake Houston fan meet was born.

Man that Paul Mills sure can dance!

Paul was one of the first in AFCA to find an Eck - TIGRE.

Wonder if he still has it?

I had the pleasue of catching up with Paul last fall when he was in the Houston area.

He's doing well and still into fans though just not as much.  It was great to catch up with a good friend and talk about our families and how our lives have changed in 8-9 years.

Back in 2000-2001 Paul and I were just bachelors and fan collectors.  Since that time we've both found a better half, gotten married and, had children.  He's busy with his family just as I am with mine which inevitably means we're fairly inconsistent on the forum.

But that Paul Mills sure can dance.

Well, if you are speaking of me, I'm just fine.  It's Saturday, the weather is beautiful, humidity is down and I'm painting a fan. :D (Although I didn't realize that I had reached the status of a long time fan collector, so maybe you are referring to someone else?):wondering:

Glad to hear you're fine Doug H.  It's been a long cold snowy winter in DC.  Hope to see you and Diana at Darryl's next month-one of my favorite events of the year!

(AND How are you Doug Wendel?)
