Hey Detective Russ,

How many hats can a hat chuck, chuck?....before conversion to a fan.

You are right on.  I've got to admit though.....it makes a neat and unusual looking fan.

That Westy "utility" motor is patented. I have posted the patent before. Here is the problem.......I never write the patent number down so I can reference it. Why do I need to write that one down? Because that patent is one of the MOST difficult patents to get Google to cough up using key words. The problem with free snatching CERTAIN patents is Google misspells key heading words on the patents. Thus trying to snatch them from cyber space becomes a crap shoot. At times I like shooting the crap....but I don't dig crap shoots...fact Jack.

Terry, even with a heavy cast iron fan motor.....how many hats are strobe balanced prior to sale? :D Can you imagine that thing running at 1500 RPM with at stupid hat in that chuck?

Russ, I think the patent you are looking for is No. 1,135,093
