Was it on Carrollton? I think it had an ILG over the front door that was removed during the remodel.

No cute hats, Tom, but a base ball cap with a hairnet underneath instead. I have coworkers who worked at Godchaux till it closed. Domino still has vintage ILG's in use in many buildings, but the fans I use everyday are much newer Daytons and Airmasters

Tom, the one you can't identify is probably a GE, judging from the cage. http://www.afcaforum.com/forum1/22562.html

Thanks Stephen.  I figured that cage was the way to ID it, but didn't remember seeing it before.

Saint Rose de Lima Church cared about the coolness of its parishioners.  8 R&Ms in view, probably more.

The old churches still look the best to me, the "modern" 50's and 60's churches had all of the charm of a gymnasium.

Eyeballing it suggests they are in the 7-8 foot range.

I have a pair of pipes that came out of a 60s vaulted ceiling that are close to 7.
