Thanks Russ,
Ok you got to forgive the newbie in me.............. who is the manufacturer ?
Hueglin ???  Never heard of them .......................what would be a fair price for it
if I could talk the owner into parting with it?

I don't know for sure yet.  Hueglin is Airmaster.  Various fan manufacturers used the Torrington blades.

Very Airmasterish cage, but not identical to the 3 versions I have.

The center badge is not readable?

Correct, because there is no badge.

Airmaster was quite proud of their products and did have a nice center badge.

Thats one of the early airmaster bases. Back at that time I dont think airmaster was putting badges on their cages. The base however would have a badge in the lower portion. Airmaster put the badge on the post in the next gen models with the curved base and then later put the badge on the cage

Well its highly likely to be a frankenfan. If you like it you can offer whatever you're willing to pay for it. I suspect the fan would part out at around $150-$225 or so. The base is pretty desirable to an airmaster collector but its really heavy and expensive to ship. I'm not so sure thats even an Airmaster post but its in good condition I guess.

Charles,
Sounds to me it is not worth my trouble to ask..................if your correct that it would only be worth parting out.
Kinda a let down the fan appeared to me to be parts that belonged together and been together for many years.

If you like it then who cares if its put together from different fans? All the parts seem to have come from really cool old fans so its not all bad. I think it would look awesome in any garage or mancave.

Just know that it is a frankenfan and if/when you decide to sell it, you might need to part it out.

I agree, Frankenfan or not, it's an awesome fan and if you love it Tony, that's what's most important. :D

Nice! Was that an old machine shop? That looks like the overhead shafts they used for belt drive lathes, etc.

This was a dry cleaners built in the early 30's and had a steam driven motor.
