The ones that just say made in Chicago are from when, around 1948? Is this a pre Cory Fan?

Wow, awesome grab, Mike! Even though I was unimpressed by Freshy fans as a kid, due to their having only 2 blades, I now feel quite different!

I have 1941, 1946, and 1949 ads for Freshy, but the model codes always seem to be the blade size, so this isn't any help when trying to determine year of manufacture.

One of these days I'll get out to the Chicago Library to go through their Freshy material, which is, from what I understand, not organized or categorized.

Mike, to answer your question from a previous conversation--yes, I'd be willing to accept that fan as a gift.  Thanks!

From what I understand, loads of it! They haven't had a chance to organize it, but they will let you research from it.

Yes it is. It's from the Robert Morris School Of Chicago. I do remember them but I'm not sure if there still around.

Robert Morris is still there. I took my first 2 accounting courses in Chicago from them way back in 1983 or 1984. They may have still been using that fan back then, as I recall, there wasn't any air conditioning.

Nice fan...

I thought it was still around. I believe they moved into another building in the Loop.
