The Southern Illinois Electric Co. ad
doesn't mention the manufacturer(s)
of the fans.

They claimed to be  "The largest Electrical
Mail Order House in the country."

They claimed, "We Are the Manufacturers
of the World Famous American Vibrator."

I doubt they manufactured fans or vibrators.

Maybe the exclusive sales agent for some
products,... but not manufactures...

Just speculating...

The American Electrician article verifies
two of
the fans as Fidelity fans.

Is the third also a Fidelity fan?

Anyone have one?  Post some pictures!

The "ECLIPSE" TRADEMARK name was introduced in 01 with the NEW Towle fan motor design characteristic of Fidelity Electric Co. to emerge out of Towle Mfg. in late 03.

Fidelity fan and power motors remained under the ECLIPSE trademark name as late as, or later than 1921.

The first 8" Fidelity socket fan motor was introduced 04 season, it APPEARS. The Fidelity ECLIPSE socket fan motor can be found mentioned in electrical trade as late as 15, and possibly later. Fidelity made bucket loads of them. :D

I pondered: Is the third also a Fidelity fan?
http://www.afcaforum.com/forum1/14724.html

The below fan is from
the Osdene collection.

 :D  Hi, Jon.

We'll miss you at FanFair!

Are you going to make it to
Geoff's OFW this fall?  :wondering:

Let me restate that:
You
are going to make it to
Geoff's OFW this fall!  :thumbup

Makes it a whole lot easier
to feed the squirrel, too.  :thumbup

This is how a squirrel cage
motor really works...

Rotating magnetic field,...
induced current...
& Lenz's law...     All bunk!
