So Saturday I was trying to re-organize some of my fans and also do some comparison of them.  I was looking over my small collection of 8" fans that I have aquired over the past few years.  As I laid them out and was looking over the bunch on of our 3 cats who is an attention hound got in front of the fans to let me know what's really important.  I grabbed this shot.  While she had been talking to me during most of the interaction, this was her yawning while I took the picture.

Tom,

That's a beautiful fluffball. Always good to know your tools are safe.

When we lived in Florida, my neighbor's cat came over daily to say hello, or maybe it was just because there was always a breeze in the shop.......

Yeah, he is a fluffball.  A BIG fluffball.  That is a 18 inch Craftman box he is on.  He found me as a 9-10 week old.  I would say he is a Ragdoll if they weren't so rare, especially as a stray.  My Daughter calls me the cat whisperer.  I can befriend most any cat.

I've got a German Shepherd, he loves sleeping around the various fans in the house.

Some of you may remember Monty here from several Fanfairs that he attended with me about 5-7 years ago.   He's almost 19 now so he'll probably not be at another Fanfair if I make one.   He loves to travel by car, meet strangers, and is like a dog in many ways.   He's turned out to be a great cat once we made our "truce" to not fight each other and he'll be nearly impossible to replace.   I have five other cats and none have been hurt by my fans.   I did find Kitty sleeping on the floor right in front of a fan placed on the kitchen floor to help dry paint inside a cabinet.

Well here are a few pics of my shed/shop cat better known as "Miss Kitty" which is the name my wife Carolyn gave her. At the age of about 6 months old .... Miss Kitty suddenly appeared in back of my shed and was probably dumped by someone in our neighborhood and when I first saw her around my scrap metal pile out back I couldn't get within 30 yards of her. I wasn't paying much attention one afternoon, but Carolyn saw her and after about 20 minutes Carolyn had the cat in her arms.......well I got attached to Miss Kitty and the rest is history. Now she has 2 locations formal sleeping locations and anywhere in the rest of the shop for a quick nap, her own cat door entry to my shed sooos she can come and go as she pleases, her own dining area, and the list goes on.

Here she is on guard duty ......... sleeping on my old wooden machinist tool box and between 2 old Silver Swans that are waiting their turn to be restored. This location is in front of my large south facing window and gives her a good look-out point.......that is when she is awake.

Miss Kitty is a bit camera shy in this photo........not really as she is deep in sleep, but for some reason has her face covered up........

Good looking cat Mike.   It's good your shop is as clean as the white on his chest.

Bella was enjoying the morning sun by walking around my fans this morning. No that one fan isn't on! She hasn't gotten too curious with running fans yet. But I'm always watchful with her around fans with more open cages. She's pretty nosey.
