Well, despite storms overnight and threatening skies in the morning, the day turned out to be one of the nicest days of summer. There were many great fans on display as well as many who found new owners! Many thanks to Tom for hosting and cooking all the incredible food for the masses of hungry fanners.

Best of all, many new members and guests came. So many in fact that I can't recall all their names, but one, won the raffle prize fan, making his collection 4 now. Just wait, soon your count will be in the teens, and then the hundreds. It was great that you could join us and hopefully we'll see you again in Philly in Mid September!

Anyhow, it was a great time and here are some pics for those of you out there somewhere west or south of here!!

Enjoy...we did!!!

It was. A bunch of other guys were taking pics, so hopefully others will add to the post. You guys from outside the Northeast should hop in the car and make the drive!
If Ray can make it here, you can!

I regret that I couldn't make it this time around. My class schedule interfered and I could not change it, unfortunately. Looks like I missed quite a bit. Anyone know who owns that blue Vornado box fan? I'm very interested.

The Vornado box fan belongs to Ray Hane (or at least it did, unless it was sold yesterday).

I wish I could have been there as well. It looks like it was a great time! I'm glad the weather cleared so everyone could enjoy. Very sad to miss it. I plan to be at Lane's in September.

Oh what a perfect day, and the fact that the weather cleared out in plenty of time was the least of it. Many many thanks to our great host Tom Z. I lost count of the number of classic window fans Tom has in his home, but it seems like just the right amount 😁. I missed last year's event so it was good to see the old friends and the new faces. My wife Patty really enjoyed herself too. It made our weekend!

thank you all for the kind words and for putting up with wet grass and humid day!. it poured cats and dogs early over the night and all morning looked like the skies would open again. Thanks especially to mike heffernan for motor expertisse, and for helping set up the tents and to tony clayton and lane shirey as well and for both to help clean up and pack it all away and to chris kelly and his father john also for helping break down. PLEASE NOTE lane and i have put our heads together and he will host the late summer event and i will move mine too earlier dates to fill in the the Allentown meet which was discontinued after this past May. NEW JERSEY BREEZIN WILL BE HELD THE FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY BEFORE THE MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND in 2018. So think the weekend before the three day Memorial Day weekend. Fan Fair is the first weekend in August next year which would put my event back even closer to Lanes, so i am going to take the date time frame that Robin Cook used for the Allentown event. So date to be announced officially as soon as i find a 2018 calendar. This will then not interfere with Holidays and Fan Fair and give people an early and late summer northeast event. i had a great time and am looking forward to the next one in May 2018 at my house!

Hats off to Tom for hosting Another successful North Jersey BBQ.Friday nights gathering was great everyone pitched in with set up and chatting later with food and refreshments,Saturday's weather despite some overnight storms till around 6am the could not have been better for the day right around 80 low humidity.Good to see everyone again and we had a few newcomers from NYC and Parsippany,N.J.the food was GREAT.Lots of fans traded hands, lots of catching up with old fan friends and making new fan friends. Many came from long distances. If you've never attended a Northeast meet put one on your calandar you'll be glad you did.Tom outdoes himself and everyone attending enjoys the day, you'll be glad you came !!

Apologies for a late reply just getting back from a Pocono vacation with no service there and just got internet service late Wedensday in Pa.
