The pointer on the switch is missing.  Anybody have advice on where to get it and how to fix it?

Also, what type of wire/plug would have been originally used?

The type of plug that this fan would of used would of been a Benjamin Light Socket Style Plug like the ones pictured below:

You might check to see if the bakelite piece that holds the pointer to the shaft is intact and there......
