Need help removing stator from my Emerson trojan.  Got it out once, repainted housing and with considerable effort got it back in, however, I need it back out ( possibly just the paint made it difficult ). Is there a link to a video  that would be helpful.  A while back there was a post about restoring and cleaning an old fan that had 3 video links in fast motion  I can not find that one

any suggestions appreciated

Originally removed with tapping on back with hammer not working this time and do not want to damage new paint

Search for PVC. You can insert a pipe after removing rotor and tap the end of PVC pipe against ground and stator will slide out.

Be careful doing the pipe method with a trojan, the back side is weak and can easily break.
