As many of you know George has been fighting a terrible strain of the flu.  He is having good days and bad days.  He told me today that he just found out that he has two strains!!  He asked me to thank you all for the well wishes.  Get well soon Geo!

George apparently finds flu strains like fans -- in multiples...

Hope your feeling better George.

George, hope you're feeling better soon. I wouldn't have imagined that it was possible to get 2 at the same time. Best wishes! Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

George,

Get well soon buddy.
I think I'll stay indoors for a couple of months until this is all over.

You can probably request a fan in your hospital room but it will have to go through the maintenance department first to be checked out.

It will have to have a grounded plug and pass a current leak test.

None of our antiques would pass, I'm afraid. Something UL approved.

I know it would cheer me up to have some rotating brass in my room with me....

And hopefully you can recuperate at home.

Cheers,
Bill

Get well George, sending prayers your way. May have to go tour the antique shops of Indiana, probably lots of good fans to be found right now!

George not sure if you are aware but Mike Mirin and your wife are planning a garage sale, or should I say “silo sale” in a few days.  I suggest that you hasten your recovery and defend your fans.  Get well soon I need someone to argue with.

I did a garage sale with some fans, about 10 of them. Most where worth around $20. I sold 2 of them. I think at a garage sale they would have to be priced at under $10?

Get well Geo. Cold showers every hour? I have a 22" wooden blade Emmy circulator that will fix that. You'll be asking for blankets!

Get well Soon George, I hope you can get my Vortalex's Cage fixed soon, its getting lonely without it and I can't display it without it. :-( The good news is that I've got the rest of my fans on display on my new fan display shelf in my new livingroom arrangement. :-)

No problem Charlie, it’s my understanding that George’s wife will be pricing the fans very reasonably, she is more concerned with cleaning out Georges stash than making a killing. You will find this interesting, she said most of the fans will be around $25.00 as that’s what George told her he paid for them.

 Rick,
I was thinking of my lawnmower trailer  but maybe wee should take the stock trailer as  we can hang fans on the sides and put them on the floor also.
Anything to help  A friend.

Now I am seriously concerned about George. He has gone from once a week to once per hour on the showers!!! If he starts to use soap also, I fear for the worst. Get better soon George!!!!!
