Lots of great fans from desk to ceiling models like Dave Dimitrion's art-deco gyro fan. He restored it himself.

There was plenty of "fan action" at the tables with great offerings like the Century S3 in the foreground.  Austin Ko and John Scrhader, rear, swap "fan war stories."

Chuck Abernathy's red-topped arrangement of late 19-the century Crocker Wheeler and Crocker Wheeler fans was a show-stopper. The Crocker Curtis, center, has an early smooth wire cage that Chuck had fabricated using an early advertisement for the fan.

These ladies, who contacted Darryl Hudson with an inquiry, visited the Carolina Regional following a drive from their South Carolina homes. Neither knew that there was an AFCA. They wanted to see this Web Site after learning about its existence.  Both were interested in joining the club (and they liked Dan Graves display here, too.)
Mabye they will post on this thread ...

Jordan Greene of St. Petersburg, Florida made the long drive to Aiken and enjoyed the Carolina Regional. I believe his father was also in attendance.

So Kim Frank brought this GE pancake, I think it's from the second year that pancakes were manufactured. That dates this pancake to 1895. It was outstanding.

Kim demo'd the pancake using a frequency and voltage converter -- a really nice piece of equipment from the Museum -- while Chuck Abernathy, left, and Dennis Parmley, rear, watched.

Dennis arrived early each morning at the Carolina Regional and greeted the days by having coffee traditionally offered by the Hudsons to all guests. Dennis sold several nice ceiling fans this year. Behind Dennis are Paul Foster, left, and Darryl Hudson.

Terry Wright, left, often restore scales, but he also likes fans. He liked one particular small Robbins and Myers fan that, I think, was used in chicken houses to spur egg incubation among hens.  Carlton Ward, right, helped him with the fan.
