I have good knowledge of most of the Emerson models but know nothing about the 1500.  Does this little rascal have a single bearing build or otherwise and is it centrifugal start possibly??  Randy

Single bearing & centrifugal start switch. Zero to full blast in a split second.

Randy, if you decide not to buy it, I'd appreciate to opportunity to, troubles and all. If it's a viable opportunity I will make it worth your time.

Hi Jamie, let me make this no secret. It's currently on ebay open for bids, and in my home town near where I live. I want to look at it before bidding but might not be able to before auction ends.

Thanks Randy, and I'd love to buy it at the current price to complete my collection of the 8" Emmy's, but I suspect that won't be an option.

Talked to the owner once about a year ago. Said if I could find him a KZ900 he'd give me the 1500 as a founders fee. I so wish I was able to find a KZ900.

I had to look up what a K2900 is.   Don't see many around.  I assume the engine included a FAN?

Well I was close but my eyes saw a 2, not a Z.    Time to get glasses?  Enjoy your Kawasake.   I remember when they were new and the hottest bike around.

I wish I could afford one of the. They and a couple others are considered the best of the era.
