I'm still looking for a Westy 164864B oscillator. Is there any other models that use the same oscillator? I tried a 315745A and it did not work. The rotor would not spin freely. This is the one I need with a bearing on the shaft. Looks to me that it can't be repaired but some of you guys do amazing things.

I have never seen one like that I don't think. I have a parts fan or 2 that I can check but I think they are all the same as the other type I have seen. Do you have more pics of the oscillator or the whole fan?

There are slight differences from other models that not make it fit perfectly.
Hey Mike, we're not that far from one another. If you do have something , I can bring it to you to match it up or you can come to my shop.

Hmm that looks just like all of mine but I have never seen that part that is in your first post. I will post a pic of the parts fan I have.

Looks like it's a 164848i. Here is the tag. Also here is a pic of the gear and the inside. I would like to see what yours looks like because I have never seen that part you have in your first pic .

Do you know if it has a centrifugal switch? Don't know if you ever removed the motor from the base but I would need to see what that shaft looks like that goes inside the base.If it has a bearing its probably the same one that I have.
