This is a work in progress.  I am trying to upload a short clip of my drone video from Fan Fair.  It was filmed in 4k, however, I am learning that I have to give it a couple of hours before I increase the definition.  We will see what happens tomorrow.  Until then, take a look at what I have now.

I like the drone ........ Drone camera's are so good and stable, you can zoom in without much distortion, pause and look at a particular fan on a table.  For those of us who cannot attend, this is great.   Lots of potential, ....... like putting a hook on it and sneaking that Lynn Works out of the room.

That is awesome Rick. A lot of preserved mechanical history in that room.

I saw that thing in action, Rick did a great job "piloting" it around the room. With no people in it, he could have done an eye level view, he's that good with it.

I think I was able to get the video up to 1080.  Tonight I will try to get it to 4k so that people can read the motor tags.
Nope.  Still 720 when you open it.

That is excellent. Seeing fans at eye level is impressive. But from a “drone’s eye view” is better.

That is great Rick!

I was amazed at how much air that thing blew down when you flew it over.

Cool tech, however, I wouldn't want to try it with many fans on!

That did have some down draft from the propellers. Rick was very steady at flying that drone.

Thanks Rick, an excellent view of what I missed.   Does it seem more crowded than in many past years?  With a record attendance maybe that's why or was the room smaller.  Some great stuff there.

More people and what seemed like a smaller room to me Steve.
