I picked this little guy up over the weekend. I’ve never seen one before and that generally tells me it’s time to buy. I thought it was a Knapp Monarch until I got it home and wiped off the badge. It runs on all three speeds. Here are some pictures. What do the experts say, real or home made? Thanks, Steve.

Hi Steve, I believe that fan is the real deal and not a Frankenfan, as there was actually a fan manufacturer called KMC at one time, I believe they were originally an American company, but don't quote me on that, I'm just going by what I've read here and there on the forum here and elsewhere on the internet about them.

It looks almost like its missing some decorative pipe on the shaft going from the base to the bottom of the fan motor... :wondering:

WW11 material needs was the primary torpedo that sunk the Minneapolis, MN based KMC ship.
