Can anyone give me any info on this old fan I picked up the other day. It's a Hunter type 10 oscillating 2 speed. It appears to be made of heavy copper. Can this be so.

Those are usually pot metal flashed with a brass coating.

All I know is it looks like it's copper or brass under the black paint and a magnet will not attach to it.
