I have a pretty good collection of Emerson ceiling fans and blade brackets - I have heard that the Fern Leaf fan takes longer blade brackets than the standard fans. Can you tell me the different identifiers of the brackets [length, pitch, etc.] ?

Yes there are "long arm" and "standard".  The long arm allows you to see the detail of the fernleaf.  Then there are short and long blades to keep the standard 52 inch sweep.  The shorter blades for the long arms and vice versa.

They also came in various pitches.  10,12, and 15 degrees.

If you want to sell any, email or PM me.

What are the lengths of the long and short arm brackets, the long and short arm blades?

So you have not actually measured the length of the two different arms? That was my original question in the Forum. When you actually get out in the field and run across some of the brackets, unless there is one of each , it is hard to tell them apart.

I haven't ever measured them Gary, but I can spot them easily in the field, there is quite a difference. If I can remember tonight, I will measure some.

I believe (from memory) the short blade for long arms are 22 inches long and the long blades are 24 inches for the short blade arms.  Which would lead me to say that would mean the long brackets are 2 inches longer than the short ones.

Makes sense.

Short Brackets + Short Blades = 52"

Short Brackets + Long Blades = 56"

Long Brackets + Short Blades = 56"

Long Brackets + Long Blades = 60"
