Mike Rathberger's 1903 pancake all done except for some pieces that Darryl Hudson is making me from brass to replace the steel pieces (the set screw above the oiler and the set screw at the top of the base).

It runs smoothly without vibration. My prettiest cake without a doubt. Note the wonderful Ted Kaczor reproduction cage and Rick Powell's superb japanning. And of course, Ron Bethoney's brass work and Darryl Hudson's bakelite post covers so nosy guests don't get shocked!

It makes my other half ribbed cake look like a poor cousin. I painted it - one of the first ones I did. I guess I'll take it apart and send it off to Rick!
