It’s original, not rare and in poor shape. And most have broken oscillator gears. I suppose you could say they’re less common than the desktop version. It should be chrome and black. I’ve had 2 and sold them both for less than $75 each in far better condition than the one pictured.

Thank you! I haven't seen many dime store pedestal fans; much less an Eskimo. I had thought they wouldn't have bothered making a pedestal version, because it wouldn't have been cost effective since their specialty was making cheap fans.
