I have a hundred fans on display here and there in the ol home! Do not laugh but I use a shop vac to dust them them and then pick the dust up off other surfaces! 😅🤣😂 And I hire a niece to seriously clean them once a year or so... Do you guys or gals have another method i would be impressed with!?? Geo...

I use canned air and/or ultra fine paint brush. Then my air filters in the rooms catch most of the floating particulates. Shop vac sounds good for fans with patina though, but not for restos.

I always wait until the local fan meet comes around. Then I dust them as I pack them in the van.

This specific air nozzle works better than any other I've tried. Very forceful and directed air pressure. That's 46 years of experience blowing dust at work.

I’m with you John, carry them outside and blow them off with the air compressor. 👍 The neighbor will be in his driveway waxing his 55 Chevy and looking at me like I’m weird blowing off fans.
