I received a call from James Cottons wife yesterday to inform me that he had passed away this last Thursday. James had an infection from a recent surgery that he never overcame , he was 81 years old . He was a friend of mine and I will miss him . He is survived by his wife of 55 years but I am unsure of siblings and children . He was a regular at the Dunnaways as some of you may remember .I didn't have a recent picture of him so if anyone has one feel free to post it . RIP my friend

James was a mighty man and a good friend to all. He was a regular at thr Marfi Gras Meet and Pig Pickin. James was an industrial electrician and a long standing IBEW union brother. My c9ndolences to his wife and family

So sorry to hear that . Prayers to wife & family.. The last time he had planned to make it to Arkansas , his plans were interrupted by a spring tornado damaging the farm.
