I'm offering my "baby" Quiet Blade. It's considered an 8", 8.5" or 9" fan, depending who you talk to. These do not come up often and this one has been completely restored. It runs perfectly and very quietly. This is what has been done to it:

Completely disassembled, bead blasted and new paint. Blade polished. New headwire and cord properly installed. Switch reconditioned. Stator pulled and varnished. New base felt, Osc. gearbox cleaned and regreased. All bearing surfaces cleaned and reoiled. Oil cup cleaned and refilled.

This fan has been test run for days, and runs very quietly and smoothly . It's ready to run. In full disclosure, there are a few pieces of non-original hardware and the only thing "wrong" with it is that a prior owner peened the top of the oscillator shoulder screw, so it can't be removed, but I was able to easily work around it during the restoration, so it's not a big deal. It could be drilled and replaced if you want to, but I don't see a reason. There are also very minor blade distortions by the hub spiders, but not very noticeable. Blade runs very true with no wobble.

I don't think you'll find a nicer example. I have a lot of time into this uncommon fan, and therefore the asking price.

Fan is sold. Thank you!!.

Please PM me if interested.

Thanks for looking!

That's a sweet little fan there Lane! I got a hold of an original factory cream colored one last year. The power cord had been replaced but other than that it looks to be all original. I am going to cleaned it up (put a new head wire on, new grease in the gear box, etc) for my wife to have in her kitchen to use when she needs to.
