I've just put a new headwire in this and cleaned the switch but it only runs at one speed.  Does the switch look like the correct switch?  What does the selector knob look like?  Does anyone supply things like the speed coil (looks a bit "stressed"), speed selector dial and knob, and the L shaped rubber strip that formed the antiskid/noise isolation for the base of the fan?   Thanks.

Can you post a photo and model number for the fan? It's hard to give much of an option when we only have the proctologist's view.

It's a K 16912.  What I need most is a new coil, and the rubber strip that forms a ring at the base of the fan.

I think I have a very similar fan. Let me look, if I can locate it you are welcome to have it for the cost of shipping.

The speed coil looks burned up. Is it a three speed fan?

It is supposed to be a three speed, yes.
