Hi all, this is as found.  Wife got me this right before we found out we were having another baby and I haven't been able to get around to it.  Located 20 miles from DC in northern VA if anyone nearby is interested.

It has the wrong cage blade and struts so I am thinking 1000 is way to much.

Looking more like $350 to me as is.   I sold a very nice original and all correct a few years ago for about $550.

I don't know if I would pay more than $200. With the parts that are missing you will come real close if not spend more $550 total if you can find them. It only took me over 2 years to get all the parts for mine. I paid $120 plus shipping just for the cage. Parts for these get expensive fast.

I have the correct blade assy. for this fan and can make the cage/struts. So I am curious to know what the real selling price is since the seller removed the initial price from his post.

He needs to put some type of price or the administrators will remove the post.

When would of he removed the price I wonder? Because I looked at the initial posting that the OP posted and I didn't see an "edited by..." message on the bottom of his posting anywhere, usually when somone edits a posting there's usually a message on the bottom of the posting that mentions that the post had been edited but there was no such message at the bottom of his post...  :wondering:

So has any interested purchasing party tried contacting the seller?

It was there, anyway according to the forum rules that I am sure you read you have to price what you are selling.

A 1510 with a rewound motor and perfect running condition sold for $450 just a few months ago. Fan meets are where we find our fans people. Watch it run, kick the tires, talk to the owner, and make a fair offer. No more eBay sclepping and craigslist hoping. We fan lovers collectively have millions of fans...  all we don’t need. Enjoy your next meet folks:up:

Lucas is right. I have got my best deal from other collectors, and I try to pass forward good deals if someone wants something I have. Come on down to the island next month folks, I'm sure there will be some orphans looking for a new home...
