Hello All!

Recently, I’ve won a few eBay auctions only to realize I’m rapidly running out of space for fans. (Really only have space for small ones now.) As I don’t want to risk it collapsing my shelf, the only real options are to sell or put it in a wet garage (I’m not doing the later). That said, I’m offering this 1911 Diehl 0174. This is a massive heavy cast iron and brass fan. It works wonderfully on all three speeds and the BMY motor is smooth quite and cool. I ran the fan for a day and it was barely warm. The paint has a few chips but is good overall. The blades are nice, straight, and in clock. This fan includes the Diehl triangular porcelain switch in excellent unchiped condition- very rare! I did open the fan for some servicing and cleaning. I did nothing to the outside as people have different tastes. The rubber cord is held on by screw terminals and can easily be replaced (no big Diehl lol). A nice original (very uncommon) fan.

This fan is flawless in operation and very uncommon. I would like to get $700 for it If you are interested, PM or call me and we can probably work something out. I’m easy to get along with. :) Please direct any questions, concerns, or offers to me via PM or call. Thanks for your consideration!

Is that a 12' Fan? Other than the cage & Blade it looks like a GE BMY - - Is it A centrifugal Start Motor?

Yes it’s a 12’. Everything is Diehl made other than the motor. The motor is a non centrifugal start BMY motor.
