I am in need of an Emerson fern leaf ceiling fan arm.  When I obtained this fan 20 some years ago, one was missing.  Now I'm remodeling my dining room, and want to put it back into service.  Thanks!

Measure it length overall. Also is it 12,14, or 15 degree? That’s cast into the blade. Lastly is it updraft or down?

Measurements = 9" long by 5 1/2" wide.  Now I will demonstrate my ignorance:  how do I determine draft direction?

It’s a 15 degree downdraft. He f it were updraft it would have a U cast into it.

Excellent, Steve - thank you for that bit of information.

To heighten interest in coming up with this missing arm, I wanted to throw open the possibility of finding new homes for some of the other old fans I have to anyone who may be able to help me out with this piece.

I would also be open to buying 4 matching arms for this fan if finding the one I'm missing is going to take 20 more years to turn up.  Thank you everyone!

Brent, these aren't terribly hard to find.  You can sometimes find complete sets on eBay.  Just pay attention to the blade pitch (15 degrees), iron length (yours is the longer variety) and whether or not it has the "dimple" on the iron flange pad.  A set of four should have two with and two without the dimple to correspond to the rotor dimples on these earlier Emerson fans.
