I'm wrapping up a restoration of a lively aire as a gift for my father for fathers day (im military and he is coming to see me the 1st of july) and somehow my bag that had my gear cover and my head screws has gone missing. If possible i would like to purchase them and i would be willing to pay for expedited shipping if its available. thank you for any assistance that you wonderful people may offer!
-Fred

That looks to be the same model as mine minus the blades, mine are the aluminum ones without the center cap. i do believe it would fit since the heads seem to be the exact same! what would you want for the parts? sorry i dont have a pic of mine put together so i attached an image from google.

How about he whole fan for $30 plus shipping? I just test ran it -2 speeds & oscillates fine, once the parts are gone it's not worth much -these are super common, but nice -often re-painted in cool custom colors

Awesome! could you get a quote on shipping so i can get a total? ive never bought a fan and had it shipped so i have no idea of the shipping prices. also are you sure that it has the same size cover and screws since yours is a 2 speed and mine is a 1 speed? I'd hate to get this and not be able to finish this gift from my father. the skulls looks absolutely SICK!! do the blades sound way better with the holes or does it not make much of a difference noise wise?

Since you are not across the great divide shipping should not be more than $30. You should attend the AFCA meet in September - - it's in your hood. It's not uncommon for shipping to equal or exceed a fan's price.

actually i just noticed where you are at! im stationed up in maryland right now. i put indiana as my location since that is my home of record (where i enlisted out of). i would love to make it to the meetup in september however i will be in Afghanistan by the end of august. does paypal work for payment for you? also as just another quick question, is there some sort of "tier" list or rating of antique fans? a rating of reliablilty vs airflow vs noise or something like that? i havent found it here but i do believe it would be great to have around!

Thank you very much! i sent you a reply! i saw a very small westinghouse fan at an antique shop and am still doing research on whether or not its worth grabbing, it had some fore and aft play in the shaft so i was unsure if it was worth the trouble. it was 70 i believe. style number 803681.
