Finally got ahold of one of these.  I must say, I'm quite impressed.  I have a restoration in mind for it, but I go back and forth.  It's insane to me that this thing has a 5.05 amp motor.  A great number of motors are larger than this but top out at around 3 amps and change.  What gives?  Does the blade pitch really command that much extra power???

Very cool fan.  Might end up hanging onto it-for now, a bearing cleanup and winding/choke coil reinsulation.

Gerald,  I've been looking at your restorations-you're somewhat of a wizard with these more modern fans aren't you?  That looks great!  I just gave a few good coats of varnish to the stator windings and choke coil.  The fan is completely disassembled now, and I'm in the works of stripping the paint.  Hopefully will save me a significant amount  on cost to repaint.
