My postman stops in once in a while to see what I am doing.  One day he stopped and brought in a beat up Emerson 77646 corroded to the max.  Wish I had taken before pictures.  Of course it would not run.  "Think you can do anything with this?  My brother and I have been trying to get it to work but no luck.  The blade won't turn and if you turn it on it just smokes.  I can remember the day my dad brought it home when it was new.  With no AC that was a big deal for us."   I told him I would see what I could do about them mud dauber nest he had.  A couple if weeks later, I work very slow, this is what he is picking up.  I still have a couple of things to finish but it runs just as quiet as any Emerson.  Hopefully he and his son will get another 60 years out of it.
