My father found this old vornado fan under his deck. We assume it had been out in the elements for about 20 years. Surprisingly it still operates. So now I'm tryin to find more about it and trying to get some parts for it. The model number and the rest of the info about the fan is non existent so I'm not sure how to find parts for it. Can anyone help me out. Attached Image (viewed 199 times):

Hi Brian, welcome! My main concern would be the integrity of the motor windings after that much time in the elements. You should consider removing the stator to take some ohm readings and to dip it in varnish to reinsulate it. Also be careful, Vornado fans often have crumbling wiring insulation. Crescent Industries specializes in replacement parts for Vornado fans. Google it! You can use the search feature of our forum to find old threads that might assist you in the disassembly, etc. Best of success with your restoration!

Thanks for the advice. I do have it completely torn down. The windings don't look too bad nor do the wires coming off of it. I haven't run an ohms test yet. I did come across Cresent industries home page when I Googled for parts but don't know what to order since I have no model number.

So I've contacted Cresent industries. Hopefully I can get this restoration project started soon.
