Hi all, I have a Westy 20WAP-2 Whirlaire.  I need new ball bearings for the motor.  The bearings are Fafnir.  The number appears to be 2267875.  Would anybody have a source or replacement info for these.  Thanks, Mike

Hi Michael.  This number may cross to something more modern.  To verify it, we would need to have measurements of the bearing.  This would need to include the outside diameter of the bearing, the diameter of the shaft hole, the thicknes of the inner race and the thickness of the outer race.

Often, the older bearings had thicker inner races. The newer ones will have the same thickness inner and outer races. You'll need to press them on to a specific depth to get the end thrust clearance correct in the motor.

Michael, can you look for other numbers?  That number comes up as a large hex-bore bearing.

It seems that number is just a patent number for the design of the seal. https://patents.google.com/patent/US2267875

Maybe someone else has one of them apart and could look for numbers etched into the edges of the race its self and not the seal.
