So I've tried to find a suitable/safe replacement for the low speed Resistor on these Mobilaire fans as every fan I buy seems to have issues with them being cooked. I found this 100 watt 25 ohm wirewound chassis mount and this sucker is getting hot.......as in 300 degrees with the 73 degree air in my house being blown over it, I'm thinking of getting some kind of heat sink plate to mount between it and the strut, yes I know I only have one screw in it as I'm testing for permanent replacement before drilling. Has anyone found a better solution to replacing these? Of course they sent me a green one when I ordered grey
