It's hot as the tropics up here in Boston, high 90's and subtropical humidity. Good time to have some quiet fans like this Hunter. The before picture makes it look like the original color was green but it was more an cream color which I matched for the restoration below.

I've done one other Hunter and I've noticed that they are a very quiet fan with a very smooth oscillation. Wife wants to keep this one (I give most of my restorations away).

Beautiful work! I noticed the R&M badging; is Hunter a sub-brand of R&M?

Jay, Hunter merged with R&M in the 40s & kept Hunter until I believe it was 1984.
