Just a bit over 2 weeks from today, workshop commences with 2 shops to work in and a wealth of knowledge from some seasoned collectors/restorers will be available. Totally informal agenda. There will be lots of fans and parts available for sale some reconditioned, some raw and rusty from a number of folks bringing duplicates and excess.  There are some older window fans and a truckload of Homart whole house fans & parts that will be available.Saturday lunch will be Fried chicken , okra ,garlic slaw ,mashed potatoes & beans/peas/greens from the garden this summer.   :P  Will have some chili, brats & stuffed peppers at the shop Friday evening for folks that don't want to go out for supper. Good time to be had by all. Email , PM or post here if you're gonna make the journey .  I especially need a head count for Saturday lunch. Flier posted in upcoming events for best places to stay. Y'all come on down , up , or over, whichever.   .                                 happy fan collector

Hi Doc!
Jim Spurling and I will be there Thursday afternoon then headed back home early Sunday morn..... Maybe 2 more but they are undecided... I will be bringing trash bags and help with the trash...
Any one wanting to get in tight with the VP of the AFCA "me"...  Just bring me a jr. Or two and this will grease the skids for any future needs you may have with the club, if you get the meaning of my drift... I can be bought! Just sayin is all...

VP Don Georgioni...

Ugh, I won’t be able to make it this time around. But if there’s a six bladed Emerson no earlier than a 27666 looking for a new home, I might be able to oblige if someone from this area is going :D
