Hello, there.I am looking for some help with a wiring diagram for my Emerson Pedestal fan.  It was functional until I asked my teenage son to bring it up from the basement and didn't specify to NOT traction the cord  :wondering:

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Best, Tina Bergmann

Tina, what cord was damaged? The head wire or the one that runs into the base?

My pedestal 77648 is on (probably permanent) loan to my mom, but I took some pictures of my 77648-TE as I think it is somewhat similar. It’s no wiring diagram but maybe it can help. The circled green wires are where line voltage goes in.

Hello Andrew.  It was the cord that runs into the base.

If that is the model I think it is, it uses a slide switch. The cord should go to the bottom terminals of the slide switch assembly. A photo of the bottom of the switch will help verify.
