I posted this little fan about two years ago and the motor was fried
I couldnt find the old post .
I found a reasonable replacement  motor for it and it runs  as it should today.
It also has value as a Automotive collectble as they were given away when you bought a certain amount of gas.

Charlie,

You might be interested in looking at this earlier exchange on Chevron fans.
This fan in the link, was restored, then had a feature story in, The Fan Collector.

The fan in the pictures  belongs to my son and it has  somewhat a bullet   rear cover.
My brother and I have one that are flat back cover and  yes they have 3  different  unique cages !
not funky cages.
I herd the  funky caged ones went to Wisconsin.
Ill keep my eye out for ones with different cages.
The one my brother  has he ran it all summer on his solar  panels setup.
Thank Every one  for the info on these neet little fans
