I have a Westinghouse 16PA  Style 1381387 that I need to do some rewiring on. I can not figure out how to get the knob off of the switch. I don't see a set screw.  Is there a screw under the the little white cap in the middle of the switch? If so, how do you remove cap without damaging it or the knob?  Any help will be appreciated.

yes, there is a set machine screw underneath the white cover plate. I used a small exacto type blade & went around the edges & carefully pried it off. Watch out they tend to launch to the land of the unknown when they pop loose.
