Here's a minty old Kenmore reversible with the stand. My buddy found it at an estate sale. I already have plenty of these old box fans but you can never say no to one of these when they're this nice

I've never see a fan with so much dust inside. This thing must have been in the attic since Nixon was the president

charles your fan is from 1965-66. the 1967 shows the blades facing back out again...i dont have a 68 book but in 1969 they faced back in towards the room, BUT starting in 67 the color changed to 2 tone green. So your fan with the 2 knobs, blades facing in with bronze and ivory has to be 65-66. 1/6 hp motor and it was the mid range unit with the plastic foot rollers and no shelf.... NICE FIND!

NICE FIND!Excellent and helpful information as always Tom  :up:I think those wheels kinda look like space age stuff. Sort of like what you would see on a moon rover.
Not that there were any moon rovers yet, but I think they might have been in science fiction at the time.
I thought it was a few years newer but apparently not.
My buddy has a knack for finding these old premium box fans. This must be at least number 12 or so I've gotten from him

Now its nicely cleaned up. It needs a new cord and I'm thinking about a nice tan colored cloth cord from ebay

Hey Charles, why do you want to put a cloth cord on this fan? It's not even old enough for a cloth cord, they had been using rubberized cords on fans for at least 20 years by the time this fan was made...Just my 2 wheat pennies worth.
