I got this cheap locally. It definitely needs work. I believe it is ball bearing, but they sound dry. The motor works but needs a new capacitor and a solid cleaning. I believe it was a whole house fan in the past. I bought it with the intention of using it that way if I can get it running reliably. With a good push start it will run! It is about +/-30 inches in diameter.
