so i have been using Lucas  red N tacky grease in my gear boxes, but i found a tube of this at a re-u-sit store of 0.50$ so i figured i would pick it up, it smells different from red n tacky but feels about the same, i know a lot of the old gears are nylon and old plastic so i dont want to put  anything that will harm them in, i am not a grease expert so i am going to include a link to what i have and hopefully someone can tell me if it is okay. thank you.

i put it in an extremely beat up zero 1265R since it is not worth much and i would not be Too sad if it quit, but it has been about a week and seems to be working just fine for the time being, but i want to make sure before i put it in something worth wile.

The LMX should work fine. It advertises some superior qualities, but is still GREASE.

Just about ANY current grease is far better than what they had back n the day!

i figured as much, just wanted to ask someone who knew more than me before i mess something up. i know there are certain oils that should not be used due to detergint but i guess grease dosnt really matter, it is better than a solid chunk.
