Hello, I am new the the fan world. I found on the side of the road a Hunter Century fan. its a Model F-12.  I am wondering about its history. Is it something I should restore or live it. what's it worth.

Thanks in Advance

Pictures would be helpful to help us figure out what exactly you have, because Hunter made the "Century" fans from the late 1920s up until the mid 1940s when they then became "Zephair" fans.

The Hunter Century Fans came from Hunter buying out the Century Fan Compay of St. Louis, MO. in the late 1920s, and some of the early Hunter "Century" Fans can be worth about $200-$300 if I'm not mistaken, especially the ceiling mounted and pedestal models, which were not as common as the tabletop models.

Hope this helps.
