CHARLIE THAT IS A GOOD ONE AND IT IS THE EARLIER MOTOR. THE LATER LAKEWOOD MODELS HAD THE GE EXPORT MOTOR WHICH WAS GREAT UNTIL YOU HIT THE REVERSIBLE MODELS AND THEY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH A COMBO OF ALUMINUM AND COPPER WIRE THAT DONT PLAY WELL TOGETHER

YOU CAN GET A PRETTY GENERIC VERSION OF LIGHT LIGHT BLUE PAINT AND SOME STEEL WOOL OR WHITE PAINT FOR THE GRILLES, AND MOTHER'S ALUMINUM MAG WHEEL POLISH AND THAT WILL LOOK LIKE NEW (I LIKE NEW AND SHINY)

Charlie, those grilles on that fan will polish up nicely with some #00 grade steel wool and some metal polish like Brasso, same for the blades!  :D

I agree that is a nice find!

the motor on Charlie's Lakewood reminds me of the motors that Lakewoood used on their P-229 Fans of the late 1970s-mid 1980s. Is that a coincidence?  :wondering:
