Here is the speed coil cover from underneath the fan.
The left side is sprayed with the color I found, the right side is factory color.

The paint

The part number

If you hadn't said so, I'd have never noticed it was re-painted on the left side, great match. I wonder, how many different greens Vornado used?

Thanks, Lane.

Richard, I am not sure how many colors Vornado came in.
It seems like three "stock" colors, with a few specialty colors, including a white.
I am no expert. The color I own, 1954 B28C1-1, is green.
Normally, I am not a stickler for original color, especially on "not so rare" fans. I used to work in an engine rebuild shop
when I was a kid out of high school, and I remember the Detroit diesels, and their color. Sure, as shootin', it was a match.
Call it a pornographic, I mean photographic memory when it came to that particular color.
of course, that was thirty-five years ago, so all bets are off, unless its black.
