Started the next fan. Its a 16 inch 1361387 westinghouse. I have it partially dissassembled but the off on 3 speed settings switch I can not pull off. I don't want to break it but does the white center plug come out for a screw to be removed? The type on the plate says 1361387 is there another model name for this one? Thanks

Yes, that little white plastic disc is pressed in there and it covers a screw (if I remember correctly.) You could use the tip of a needle to poke in beside it to try to pop it off.

Thanks. Also on the front of the fan is a small can or tube that screws in and holds a spring and wick. Where would or what would I use for a wick? I assume this holds oil
