I have a Westinghouse Mobilaire 4 blade fan, which, upon cutting on the switch for the lesser speed, will very slowly begin to turn.  It seems to engage better if I cut on the higher speed, and then reduce it to the lesser speed.  Any thoughts?  Is there something I can do to help it?  Thank you.  Robert

Your fan's motor needs to be oiled, preferrably with 3-in-1 in the blue can or Zoom Spout which both can be had for $3 and some change at your local hardware store or Lowe's or Menards.
