Hello All,
I am currently trying to fix a GE Vortalex (F11V163) I bought recently and have been running into a problem. I removed the cage, fan blade and am currently trying to get to the motor but have had some trouble.

The screws (see picture) seem to be bent. This fan has taken a spill in its lifetime as the cage and fan blade were warped when I got it. However, all the screws seem to be bent a little outward. Is this normal? If not, does anyone know a good place to find replacements? They seem to be about 4 inches long, 1/8 diameter.

That isn't horribly uncommon, I just got through with one that way. Get a small 1/4" drive deep socket & slide over the exposed stud. Use the socket to bend it back.

A hollow shaft nut driver also works well to bend bold back straight.
Happy Fanning!
