Found Picture of Lakewood Fan of my youth  Rate Topic

I found this picture of a Lakewood fan and it has the metal clips on both sides (vs metal on one side, wire on the other), the same ON/OFF speed select switch, the badge on the grating looks right, the motor mount is lateral, and it has the baffle around the blades (vs a totally open box). I think this is the fan my folks had when I was a kid that I took apart, cleaned up, rewired, and got running again (early 1970s). Now to find one that is (probably) beat up but can be restored!

That's a LAU, not a Lakewood. These were great fans. Made some time in the 1950's.

Thank you. I have been trying to figure it out. I was seeing the metal springy pieces to hold on the safety screen in some fans, the cross bar in some others, and one other one even had the speed control switch, but I FINALLY found this picture. It was a great fan. Wish I could find one to fix up (that is reaasonable..
