I have a R&M 6" fan with an out of balance blade, wondering if there is a recommended method for re balancing it?
Thanks

6" blade could be put back in alignment just by eyeballing it.  Bend the wings so that they have the same symmetry.

Make sure that wings are firmly attached to the hub.

If still not balanced, put it on a Dubro 499 prop balancer.
Remove weight off heavy wing by sanding trailing edge with a belt sander.
Happy Fanning!

In addition to using the Dubro prop balancer you can fix clock and alignment with a stroboscope. Just use the search function and you can find instructions on how to do it. I would do that first then use the Dubro.  I use a Strobotac but there are other models you can get. There is also a strobe light app for phones but it is not as good as a real stroboscope.
