I ran across a picture today and thought it was a joke, but it was a foot stool Vornado fan.  Has anyone seen one of these?  I was thinking that a clever way to have a fan.  Is this thing legit or something made up?
And by the way, I also saw picture of an old cigarette butt can that had a fan below it to pull down smoke, etc.

That’s it. Except the one I saw it gray and it was missing the grille. Is a replacement grille east to find?

Early Vornadoes have been known to sell for as much as $500 or more.

I've got one as well. Runs great! It's in line to get a restoration. Gotta find a matching powder coat so I can send it to my guy. Anyone know of a powder coat that matches? I got it as a present from my fiance a few Christmas's ago. Vornado also made another version that was more "table-like".

Check out the sold listings for vintage/antique Vornados on eBay. I only see one stool Vornado that sold on eBay; it got $250 in working condition. Of course, one fan isn't going to give a great representation of what it's worth, but you can check out the regular Vornados that have sold and get an ok idea as to its value.

Also, like Levi said, the early Vordados with "Vornado" written across the guard seem to be worth 2-3 times what the newer ones with the 'V' on the guard are worth.

THAT FAN IS THE REAL MC COY AND CAME IN ANOTHER VERSION WITH VERY MOD THIN LEGS WITH A FANCY MESH DESIGN IMPRINTED IN THE TOP, LIKE SOMETHING FROM 1958 50'S MODERN FURNITURE COLLECTION IN THE JETSON'S HOUSE.
I HAD ONE LIKE YOURS THAT HAD BEEN IN A BACK YARD FOR YEARS AS A STAND FOR , OF ALL THINGS, A BIRDBATH...IT DID WORK BUT THE SPEED CONTROLLER WAS DONE SO IT RAN HIGH SPEED. I PAINTED IT OILED IT AND I WAS USING IT AS A TABLE AT A YARD SALE AT MY MOMS HOUSE AND A LADY TALKED ME OUT OF IT

I was able to get a Vornado stool fan. It probably needs a new cord and it’s missing the grille. Can a grille off another Vornado be used? If so, any idea off what model?
